Detailed Intinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National part & White Rhino Tracking
Transfer to Murchison falls National part & White Rhino Tracking: On your first day in the country, you’ll be welcomed by your designated company tour guide who will welcome you and brief you about what to expect. Thereafter, you’ll start your journey to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for white rhino treckking adventure. Tracking rhinos is an activity that may take anywhere from a few minutes to 2 hours since the Rhinos are protected in a sanctuary and thus easily traced. You’ll encounter various other Flora and Fauna while tracking the rhinos. After trecking, you’ll return to the main road and be driven to Masindi town for an enroute lunch at a hotel and drive straight yo Murchison falls National Park for an enroute game drive atop a waterfall to enjoy the evening cool breeze after which you’ll proceed to your lodge for checkin, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive: Following your early breakfast, you’ll be led on a morning game drive where you’ll encounter the remaining big 4 game out of the 5 with the exception of Rhinos that you saw the day before. Some of the animals encountered during this morning game drive include Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Bufalloes, Ugandan Kob, Warthogs, Bush backs and several other bird species characteristic of the African Savanna.
Afternoon boat cruise in Murchison falls National park: Upon spending 5 to 6 hours on a game drive, you’ll drive back to your lodge for lunch, then be at Paraa jet for an afternoon boat cruise upstream to the base of the waterfall as early as 2pm. During this Nile boat cruise, you’ll be rewarded with a view of the waterfall as it joins the Nile river through a tiny hole with too much pressure making a thunderous sound. Apart from the waterfalls, you’ll be rewarded with a clear view of the different wildlife species along the river bank. For people interested in a hike to the summit of the waterfall, this is the time to enjoy a short but tiresome hike that lasts about 45 minutes. Following the hike, you’ll proceed to your lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Semliki National Park
Transfer to Semliki National Park: Following your early breakfast, you’ll checkout of your lodge and meet you designated guide to embark on a drive to Semliki National park with an enroute lunch. While the journey is rather long, stunning encounters and fascinating views await you along the way in addition to engaging with local communities and a marvellous view of Mountain Rwenzori since the park is located at its foothill. Upon arrival at the lodge, you’ll check in for a relaxed dinner and later in the evening enjoy an late game drive to encounter various nocturnal widlife active throughout the night. After the night’s game drive, you’ll return to the lodge to have a rest awaiting the next day’s adventure in the park.

Day 4: Visit Sempaya Hotsprings and Lake Albert boat cruise
Visit Sempaya Hotsprings and Lake Albert boat cruise: Enjoy an early breakfast and then transfer to the park under the guidance of your designated tour guide to visit the Sempaya hotsprings, a major tourist attraction in Semliki National Park. While at the hotsprings, feel free to marvel at how hot the water is by boiling an egg and see how its ready for consumption in a short amount of time. During this nature walk, you’ll encounter several wildlife species such as primates, mammals, birds, butterflies and identify lots of plant species. After full exploration of the park on foot, a several hour long activity, you’ll be returned to your lodge for lunch and then spend the evening on a canoe ride on Lake Albert, watching several water birds and other wildlife that flock the lake in search of water. You’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive back to Kampala for departure
Drive back to Kampala for departure: After breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodge and meet your designated safari driver to start a road drive from Semliki National Park to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you’ll enjoy a brief but exciting tour of the city before being transferred to Entebbe National Airport for a flight back home.
