Itinerary Timeline

Arrival Entebbe

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be picked by your designated tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

To the Primate Capital

Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale Forest

Drive south to Fort Portal resting in the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon. Continue into Kibale National Park, the Primate Paradise.

Chimps & Wetlands

Day 3: Kibale Forest & Bigodi Swamp

Sensational Chimpanzee tracking experience in the morning. Afternoon guided nature walk through Bigodi wetland, known for birds and primates.

Lions in Trees

Day 4: Kibale to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth

Depart for Bwindi, passing through Queen Elizabeth National Park to search for tree climbing lions. Arrive in Bwindi for an overnight stay in the jungle.

Gorilla Encounter

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The highlight of the safari: Gorilla Tracking. Hike through the forest to spend an unforgettable hour with a Mountain Gorilla family.

Lake Mburo Wildlife

Day 6: Bwindi to Lake Mburo

Set off for Lake Mburo National Park. Boat cruise to view hippos and bird life. Optional night game drive for elusive leopards.

Bush Walk & Departure

Day 7: Lake Mburo to Entebbe

Morning ranger-guided bush walk. Drive back to Kampala with a stop at the Equator. Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your flight home.
